Description
Karn Khod is full of a vine and multiple color leaf pattern in swirls. The leaves curling away from the vine is called “Kanok” this motif is used frequently in temple art. The colors of the leaves are in primary colors of blue, red, and yellow along with secondary colors of purple and green. The combination of warm colors and cool colors give the design a 3 dimensional quality. The “Kanok” swirls make the leaves look like flames in the wind.
